Aleksandar (Sasha) Vuletic became a believer in Jesus 1981 through the ministry of Teen Challenge in Worms, Germany. He and his wife Marija are graduates from the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, Croatia and since 1992 they have been in full time ministry in Skopje, Macedonia. They met at the Evangelical Methodist Church in Skopje and in May 1988 they where married in Pristine, Kosovo.
In 1987 Aleksandar and Marija witnessed on the street in Skopje, and young people were saved. This was the start of a charismatic church that now has the name Evangelical Church in Macedonia. Evangelical Church is a church planting church and now has around 20 local churches in Macedonia.
They were also involved in the beginnings of a new church plant, Christian Center Macedonia, in 1995 and today Christian Center Macedonia has 3 local churches in Skopje and has planted 6 other churches in different cities in Macedonia.
2009 Aleksandar and Marija started the Institute for Spiritual Development (ISD) that is semi-resident weekend theological school. It is the first Theological Training School in Macedonia. So far more then 50 students have received training, but not all of them have graduated. In the moment they are working on transforming the school for a classroom setting to online program.
Today he and Marija are involved in the 3th church plant in Skopje Macedonia, Christian Fellowship “Trinitas”. Aleksandar (Sasha) is gifted in teaching and preaching—working with new believers is especially on his heart. Aside of his pastoral work Sasha does mission trips in unreached areas of Macedonia and among Macedonians living in Albania. Marija is excellent administrator and teacher. She loves to teach new believers about the foundations of faith. Also whenever there is humanitarian project or crises Marija is the coordinator due to her 14-year experience working with Samaritan’s Purse US as a country director for Macedonia.
Tamara (‘96), Luka (‘04), and Naomi (‘06) are Sasha and Marija’s three children. All the children were born in Skopje and are miracle babies since doctors pronounced Marija as unable to have any children.
